“We need to put mitigations back in school, particularly masks in secondary schools.” Professor Christina Pagel was quoted in a piece in the Evening Standard about the spread of Covid in schools.
“Over 100,000 children have been infected since the beginning of term,” she added. “There is literally an outbreak in every school. 1.4 per cent of 10-14-year-olds in England tested positive last week. That is a lot of children.”
