Professor Christina Pagel warned that the government must speed up its roll-out of booster jabs. The government had promised booster jabs for all over-50s before Christmas but at the current rate, some will not get their third jab until the end of February.
“If we want the booster programme to save Christmas we’re going to have to do it a hell of a lot quicker,” said Professor Pagel.
