‘Introducing masks, vaccination passes and increased working from home now may allow us to bring the situation under control in a relatively pain-free manner. It’s important, however, that we activate plan B as soon as possible, because if we don’t, we may need to jump straight to plan C. And at the moment there is no plan C.’
